3 homemade sauces to spice up your meals

Here are three awesome sauces that you can easily whip up to keep your meal prep interesting. Doing this will allow you create multiple different meals just by adding different flavours! So those 4 tubs of chicken, rice and broccoli can be turned into 4 different meals!

Spicy mexican BBQ sauce

  • 2 teaspoons hot paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chipotle paste
  • 5 tablespoons of Greek yoghurt
  • Squeeze of lemon juice 
  • Salt to taste

Combine in a bowl



Lime and avocado dip

  • Half an avocado
  • 3-5 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 jalapeno pepper

Blend everything for 30 seconds



Roasted red pepper houmous

  • 1 tin chickpeas (drained)
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 2 large roasted peppers (drained from jar)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Blend everything for 30 seconds

Using greek or skyr yoghurt and different spice pastes is the simplest way to keep your meals interesting without cooking 4 different recipes! Extra bit of protein chucked in as well :)
